Came out bad

Today,I had tried doing a new dish for the dinner.The dish came out very badly and was totally unpalatable.My room mate used to do this dish well and I just thought of trying it once but failed miserably.I am planning to learn this dish completely from my room mate, so that I do not fail trying to do this dish again anytime in the future.
