Sahara Desert

The Sahara Desert is the largest desert in the world and covers an area of nine million square kilometres in the northern Africa.It extends from the coast of the Atlantic Ocean in the west to the Red Sea and Iraq.It includes parts of various countries and one third of the desert is covered by sand dunes and the rest of it consists of rocky uplands and stony plains.
